I help you get unstuck by creating a safe space where we make sense together.
You may be contemplating therapy because you are struggling - feeling anxious, overwhelmed, unsettled, lost, isolated and alone, maybe even experiencing uncharacteristic anger or rage. You've been doing your best to cope, but it's not working any more. You may be stuck in old patterns of coping that are no longer relevant in the present. In fact, they may be getting in the way of your happiness, peace of mind and potential - keeping you stuck.
It doesn't have to be that way.
I, too, was stuck for a long time, and as a first generation immigrant, I had very little exposure to psychotherapy - how the seemingly simple act of talking can heal. But I promise that if we do the work, you, too, will be transformed by the healing powers of therapy. There may be tears, but I promise there will be laughter too.
We can make ourselves miserable or
we can make ourselves strong.
The amount of effort is the same.

Approach
As a client-centred, trauma-informed Registered Psychotherapist (Licence: 12147) and a graduate of the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, I believe good relationships - intimate, familiar, communal, and the one you have with yourself - are essential to feeling good.
I believe we are resilient and strong. Focusing on yourself is one of the most selfless things you can do, because it means you'll have more to give to the people you love. It takes courage to start your healing journey. I invite you to reach out. You don’t have to do it alone.
